Then she tried to sell me a new one for 0, or rental. I ordered a 9241 PVR HD which will be here on Friday with the technician. I also ordered a 6131 which arrived via Purolator. I opened the box, but there is no smart card in the box. Aside from a 6141, 9241, and 9242, I have two old model 2700 receivers, and their system info screens say "New Card Ready" in green text beneath the Smart Card ID, just as it did during past swaps of all of Bell subscribers' smartcards.
To resolve this error, try reinserting your SmartCard. Here’s how: Remove the SmartCard located behind a door in the front of the receiver, on left side. Reinsert the SmartCard with the arrow facing up and towards the receiver.
