‘Go-India’ smart card scheme has been launched on pilot basis on two sectors i.e. New Delhi-Mumbai and New Delhi-Howrah. At present, the Go-India smart card enables passengers to pay for reserved and unreserved tickets. The Indian Railway smart card, also known as the “Railway Ticketing Smart Card,” offers several benefits, including: Easy Recharge: Smart card eliminates the need to carry cash or paper tickets. You can recharge your ATVM smart card on the Utsonmobile webpage or Smart Card enabled counter. As a pilot project, ticket booking for long distance and sub-urban trains on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah routes can be done with the help of Go India smart card.
